Suppose you like pastries and wearing a witch hat! Come check this place out next time you are in Salem! We enjoyed this as a family, and I am sure you will, too! View all feedback.
What Irma Weaver doesn't like about Caramel French Patisserie:
Although the pastries were tasty, we did not understand why both the coffee and pastries were served with disposable crockery and cutlery. That is outdated and it also takes away from the experience of having a nice coffee somewhere. Besides, why a spoon with your pastry and not a fork? View all feedback.
If you have an unreasonable affinity towards macarons — and I do — you’re really gonna struggle to find a better spot than this. They’ve got 10 or so flavors at a given time, and they’re magical. Soft but with a light crispness and absolutely terrific flavor. The coconut and birthday cake, especially, were impressive. They’ve got other things too (croissants, bread, etc) and I have no doubt those are terrific too, but come for the croissants. And then leave with everything else.
This place is so authentically French and adorable! They have all kinds of little pastries that all look delicious. I had the caramel mousse with poached pears on the bottom. It was the most delicious flan-like custard pastry I've ever had. The consistency was great, and the poached pear bottom was an excellent combination. I wish it would have been a little bit bigger, but it was good enough because it was pretty rich. The kids had macarons, which were decent. The apple tart and almond croissant are also worthy of consideration. I'm pretty sure anything there is a good choice really. They also have random little French spreads and candies inside of the shop. It's all very thought out, and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for some French-inspired pastry. I'll be going back again when I'm in the area.
First time here and the macaroons were amazing!! The flavors tasted real and not artificial at all. Delicious!
Cute little sweet shop with great service and insanely delicious treats, loved the peach thing
