Go to your already bright reviews add. We were a little intimidated by the high prices, but literally everything that came out was a 5-star menu. Unbelievable lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese, melt in your mouth steak, crab cake with sauce to die, and delicate halibut with a beautiful mango salsa. Even the bread was totally amazing. The food was overcooked. The order came out with missing apps and the entree was incorrect. The waiter was very nice, however the food runner from the kitchen was a nasty person. I told her that my entree was not correct. The overcooked and expensive clam whole bellies were served with squash and not coleslaw as requested. If you're in Salem, you must visit Turner's! The seafood is always super fresh. I highly recommend the lobster bisque, stuffed clams, fresh oysters, and stuffed lobster. They have a seasonal pumpkin beer which is fantastic with a delicious rim! We visit Salem every year and make sure to stop by here. I'd move there just for Turner's. Thank you for a yummy dining experience!
Classic New England seafood and such a warm welcoming environment. Baked scallops with breadcrumbs is a must (wash it done with one of the many local brews). Pay no mind to those leaving poor reviews because they cannot comprehend the protocols and safety measures in place to protect staff and customers. If you choose to dine out in a pandemic you need to do so with empathy. Take your entitlement and cook at home!
The absolute BEST Lobster bisque New England Clam Chowder on the planet. There is no better. I swear. We come from NJ every October just to eat. I promise you'll love it. Plus the owners are amazing, the staff is accommodating friendly the restaurant is lovely. Fine dine, artisan dishes creative drinks. The seafood is so fresh, they even have a fresh seafood market where you can purchase soups in half gallon sizes fresh seafood to go. Amazing quality. A MUST if you're in the area
First, the manager is so warm and welcoming, that alone makes the restaurant 5 star. She was very accommodating and was really interested in talking with us. If you're looking for a nice cup of clam chowder, I'd recommend it as well as the Asian tuna nachos. Sadly, we were not fans of the tuna chili but if you like cumin, you'll like the soup.
My husband and I were visiting Salem and stumbled upon Turners and had the best food and the best service. The lobster bisque was 12/10 and so was the lobster roll. Our server Talia and her trainee, were so friendly and sweet and they made the visit even better with excellent service. Definitely a great place to have a nice lunch if you’re exploring Salem!
