I love going a place to the city with friends who has legitimate vegan options and arcade games! I love the loaded pommes so much that I recreate them at home. The Tetris darts die! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Bit:
the selection options are decent. Among the appetizers are chili, chips and guacamole or extreme nachos (size of a main meal.) the only vegan pornstar is one beyond burger. I found it strange that the vegan nachos were the second most expensive item on the menu to steak mac and cheese. the service was also very slow. View all feedback.
Not the best vegan options for meals, but from the appetizers I got I was pretty happy with them (chips and guac a gigantic soft pretzel). Better place to drink and game than have a nice vegan dinner.
I really like the folks over at bitbar but the new menu has some things I would like to see changed. This review would be 4/5 if it was anywhere but happycow bc of the strict veg 5 star requirement. The vegan supreme nachos are back, but they use daiya shreds instead of their old house made cheese sauce. Vegan cheese has come a long way from 10 years ago when daiya was the only option. It does come out on a quarter sheet pan, which is a pretty massive serving and makes the $18 more reasonable, but the ratio of toppings was weird for me, it's extremely heavy on pickled jalapenos and pico, and then using daiya....felt like I was back in my college apartment making my first batch of vegan nachos. The impossible burger is $17. I know the patty is expensive compared to meat etc, and yes they make their own buns, but $17 for a 4oz patty and a bit of lettuce and tomato? It is only a $1 upcharge from the meat burger, at least. I used to love the pakora burger, and it went the same road $15 for a single layer of veggie fritter. Guac app is good but a small amount of guac for price $12) and amt of chips. Also, despite having a coffee drink with coconut cream on their mocktail menu which I super appreciate, I was told there were no non dairy milk options for my hot coffee when I asked. These two I haven't tried yet: They added vegan spring rolls, but it comes with a sauce containing fish that you have to request to have switched out. Would be nice to just have it as vegan by default. There's a power bowl which is allegedly vegan if you don't add the optional meat toppings; it's unlabeled as such. I will say though, I got to try the vegan cheesecake and it's pretty great. Overall, very expensive menu not just the vegan options), and I just am not really impressed with what I've had recently. I am very happy, however, that they have put back a lot of the options from before their limited October menu, and there's some new things on there I need to try. Will update if anything changes next time I'm in.
Nothing left. Their vegan menu as of spring/summer 2022 was loaded with lots of options, nearly every entree or app had a vegan version. I’m talking vegan nachos, an Indian wrap, lots of unique things,m Now, you can literally just get a vegan burger…..what happened?!
Really fun barcade, but basically only offered a vegan burger, tots, and a pickled veggie appetizer as vegan (didn't get the tots, may want to ask about shared fryer if that's your style). The burger was great and after tasting the pickles that came with the burger, I wish I had gotten that appetizer (realllly good pickles). Had a coffee drink that came with lavender and coconut cream, but no other plant milks for coffee.
I was worried when I read reviews saying they run out of vegan options a lot. So I called and the lady reassured me they have a new chef and things are going well. She was right. The food was delicious! Just very limited options. But what they had was good. They even made my daughter a pizza with vegan cheese. Though I realize now I should have asked if they crust and sauce was vegan too.
