What nitro1980 likes about Captain Cod:
Chips are always fresh and fish are a good size, I really enjoy the 1/2 rice 1/2 chips and Chinese curry sauce OR the shredded chicken in pitta. Food tastes good and when we have people round for a chippy they seem to always say it's better than their local. View all feedback.

My wife surprised me with a little lunchtime treat, donner and chips. Wow, the surprise was how awful the meat was. You know when it’s first reheated and places cut the first round of meat off and bin it as it’s like leather, this place gives you that meat and charges £6 for the pleasure. It could stand up on its own, strips of leather and a total disgrace. Avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off. View all feedback.

Had chips, peas and curry. Was the worst chippy tea I've ever had. Chips were hard, peas were tasteless and curry sauce was awful. Not going there again
