beautiful place, came for a short holiday with my partner, and after we had a terrible meal in the grillado, we had to go somewhere to get the taste from our mouth, so decided to dive for a drink. it is a very helpful and friendly staff. love the fact that there is an open fire as we needed to freeze after we in the cold. will definitely be back. hang down one of the best roasts I've ever had. the slowly roasted shoulder of the lamb was incredible and the staff was beautiful. highly recommended.

"Amazing olde pub had to duck down in some places as the ceilings were so low!! Great food. Great service. Great manager. So happy we found this place, which is not local to us and had a 50mins drive to thank goodness we were not disappointed. Will definitely go back and try and tie in a nice walk before or after."
