I made a reservation, but we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Once we were seated, it took another 15 minutes to get water. We were in a completely isolated area, away from the rest of the guests, where no one else was dining. It was incredibly quiet, with no music or background noise, and our waiter hardly checked on us. The food was amazing best chain Italian for the price by far. I would have giving an overall 5 star review if it wasn't for the service. We were warned that they were short staffed so we were aware that service would be a little slow, but some of the things seemed more like errors rather than not enough staff. Overall it was a great experience and I would go back to give them another try.
I was in several buca di beppos, but that was the first time at the saltlake utah, location. it was great as all the others. we had the brussel sprouts a fried mozzarella for starters, it was delicious. then for entrée had spaghetti and meatball. everything was delicious. our waiter said he was new there and still learned, but he still did a good job to make our experience great. many thanks to bucca
Came to lunch. only 3 people there, which is good, except food came us very cold. ambiente is cool, server was nice.
Our waiter was great! we sat in the room of the papstes. it was so suitable for the occasion that I met my long lost brother who was accepted when he was a baby. it took 47 years to find him! Our grandmother loves the papst. She was Catholic. we feel she was in the spirit with us! love to serve the family style! it is very suitable for a Sunday dinner!
I made a reservation at this particular Buca trying to celebrate my anniversary while on vacation. Walked in and noticed a large party being seated by the hostess. She never acknowledged us and literally walked away for over ten minutes. Another very large party walked in and one of the take out employees acknowledged them but no one acknowledged my small party. I finally walked over to him and asked for the manager. He said the manager left the building and said they were very busy. I told him I had reservations and where did the hostess go. He just said she’ll be back soon. The restaurant looked run down and the staff was well….there really was no staff for me to give an accurate opinion. Let’s just say we walked out and I can’t believe that restaurant was still operating. I guess people are desperate. Never again Buca.
