Really lovely experience at Veneto for my birthday! Such a cute, fancy, and quaint atmosphere. The staff is excellent! Big wine selection and great beef tartare. I haven't liked beef tartare before until I tried theirs. In terms of flavor profiles, I wish there were more sauces and flavors with the dishes but that isn't the true Italian way from what I understand, so I don't hold it against them. Very authentic. What Gerrit v doesn't like about Veneto Italiano:
The service was great, and I like the atmosphere. I'm not really sure what the goal is with the menu. I did not find the pasta dishes to be unique, they were quite dry, and expensive for the amount. The lamb dish had some unrendered fat, and the eggplant appetizer was very small. I have had much better Italian food in salt lake I think. View all feedback.
