This is a small but excellent alternative on Salt spring Island that should not be overlooked. Part of the Salt Spring Island Golf and Country Club, the restaurant is open for simple breakfasts, all the way through prime rib dinners on the weekends. What User doesn't like about The Clubhouse Bar & Grill:
What started out as a new place for locals to visit has now turned into a below average experience. The servers are mouthy and will fully ignore you for 20 minutes before you even get water and a menu. The food used to be worth the awful service. Now it all tastes like freezer burn and cheap quality ****. Sorry, Not returning. Lost a couple of locals. View all feedback.
This location is now called Penny's Pantry on the Green Deluxe cheeseburger and fries: well if you can't get that right, close the doors.
was looking again for a quick place to catch a bite to eat on a Monday nite alot of places were closed so we were told to try the golf club it was quiet
