This place is a hidden gem in a small town, attached to a gas station and small liquor store. We were in the area on New Year’s Eve and everything was closed except for fast food. They do a brisk takeout business but when we were there we were the only ones seating inside. The food was very reasonably priced, quickly made and very good. 2 shrimp tempura1 number 34Tempura was so heavily breaded that the iols was still draining and nearly burned a hole in the take-out box. Breading FAR too thick for tempura and so soaked with oil it started making me ill.#34: why do they ask how you want your steak if all they do is cook it past well and serve very overcooked scallops?They make an effort, but care very little apparently about the finished product. I doubt anyone there would eat what we were served tonight.A sad disappointing wasted $30+.Wondering if they deserve another chance since for us they have been on a very sharp steady decline.
