Do yourself a favor and chose this place if you’re looking for delicious and quality Japanese food beyond sushi. Their chicken karaage is some of the best me and my husband have tried. Hiyoko is a cool spot. Had some good yakitori, along with a huge portion of chicken karaage. Wide selection of sake as well. For some reason they had none of the rice section of the menu available, which was a letdown. The design of the space is really nice, but the 90s hip hop playlist is better reserved for the bar upstairs. Pricey for obvious reasons, but not a bad option if you’re burnt out on tacos.
