"Astonishingly good food in a perfect setting. Amazing service and everything that belongs with 2 Michelin stars. Whilst the actual courses are quite small, they are preceded by an amazing collection of delicacies. You will not leave hungry."

"De vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening gidste ons door de moeilijke keuze (door het uitzonderlijke aanbod! ) van het menu en de wijnkaart. Een echte aanrader.Er was wel geen plaats op het terras maar gezien de grote hitte van de juni-dagen was de airco binnen méér dan welkom."

"A catastrophe.It's the very first time I give a review, what a very bad experience: we spent a noon there and opted for the dish of the day. In unworthy salmon terrine I eat exactly the same at work) the main dish was vegetal lasagna of poor quality not because of the fact on the spot) idem for dessert. frankly for 4 euros I eat better self from my taf. So maybe it's better to take a meat on the map that will be cooked on the spot but run the menu offered at noon, certainly affordable but of a very poor quality"

"Excellent basic restaurant over the manufacture and shop of Foie Gras Lembert. Mainly on the terrace looking up to the castle. A decent fixed price menu featured the excellent shop products and home cooked local food. Service was friendly and prompt. Enjoyed our visit."

"We happened upon this retaurant when we got lost driving around the Dordogne, and it was a good thing too! The food was absolutely delicious and the 14 euro lunch menu was superb. I tried the foie gras and magret de canard brochette which was...divine juicy, tasty and so full of flavour. My friends had the fish and the Moroccan trio, both excellent with light filo pastry parcels, crisp salads and delicious sauces. A great find at great value. The store also sells homewares, and one of our regrets was not buying a porcelain chicken..."

"I am a regular at Le Pukeko in Prayssac, with good reason. It's always reliably good, with a fixed menu. Also David makes the best Cappuccino for at least 30 kilometres around. Equally popular with native French, ex-pat residents like me, and tourists. David and Rosie moved Pukeko here from their previous location 4 Km away in Puy L'Eveque and have retained their old loyal customers and acquired many more. Give it a try!"
