Whilst visiting the fortress on a cold day we called in to this restaurant for a hot meal to warm us up. The goulash with dumpling was calling out to be tried and we were not disappointed very tasty and filing all washed down with a great stein of beer. Service was good and the location of the restaurant in the fortress with old oak furniture and high ceilings was superb. View all feedback.

Gasthaus Burgschenke had a very unique atmosphere. The hall matched the looks of the castle. The place was crowded and understaffed. The waiters made us wait for long, however, it was not their fault either. Not a bad place but service was very slow. View all feedback.
