We only came in for a drink (actually quite a few!) and were immediately taken in by the friendliness of the staff. There was a great selection of wines (don't miss the cellar downstairs!). The food is cooked in front of you behind the bar. We watched several dishes being prepared (clams, prawns, steaks....) and it looked fantastic! Ich war mit meiner Frau abends essen. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm, nur der Tisch bei Toiletteneingang sehr bewegt und vor allem mit Küchengerüchen extrem belastet. Das Essen ist nicht schlecht, aber im Verhältnis zur Qualität viel zu teuer. Neben den Gedeckgebühren, auch wenn man kein Brot isst, sind 13.- für die Vorspeise ( drei dünne Scheibchen marinierter Fisch ) und 27.- (für ein zähes Rehragout)... View all feedback.
Amazing dinner in salzburg! if you look for something delicious, cozy and close to sights but not touristy, they come here! amazing ente and loved all recommended. highly recommended.
We stumbled over this restaurant our first night and it was an amazing find! It was fine food calibre food in a casual environment. We enjoyed our first meal so much we came a second night. In the first night we made a la carte and the second we made the menu “Koch surprise”. You have made home lardo, which is served with bread that is really delicious. The chefs are hunters, so there were interesting game meat served both nights. The service is very friendly. Many locals seemed to be patrons. As another reviewer comments, smoking is allowed in the restaurant, but that seemed to be common in the all-city. First night: pumpkin soup, gooseberry 2 ways (earth and godfather), gamic crucible mushrooms, whale ice cream. The homemade lardo is also depicted. Second night: (Koch surprise) sautéed chantelles with cured venison arugula salad, tortellini pasta with mushroom, onyx with root vegetables and potatoes, apricot filled crepes

Ein tollen Abend in gemütlichem Ambiente gehabt. Super Wirt. Essen war qualitativ top und sehr gut zubereitet. Spannende Weine. Gerne wieder. Had a great evening in a cozy atmosphere. Great host. Food was of excellent quality and very well prepared. Exciting wines. Gladly again.
