Caught up with friends at their local for cocktails and dinner. Had a wonderful experience. Started with cocktails and selected a range of plates to share. Had perfectly cooked salt and pepper calamari (I am very picky and the plate was great), full of flavour buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce, divine prawns, pulled pork and slaw soft tacos and shoe string sweet potato fries. We sat down and were immediately asked to order drinks which we did. Then when the drinks came we were asked to order - but three of the items we selected were unavailable. We should have been told that at the start and we wouldn't have bothered ordering drinks as there was nothing else on the menu that tempted us.
