Effettivamente pane, grissini, pasticceria... Salumi e formaggi tipici della zona e le meravigliose ravioles...

"What a disappointment. We returned a few months ago after a year and traveled a long way to eat again in a beautiful location with a fantastic menu and instead found the menu changed and the quality of some meats was such that we sent some meat dishes back. And we were about 15 people at two tables who had the same opinion. Upon request for explanations, the owner was very little available for explanations. Too bad, we won't be back again."

"We were spending the weekend in the Maira Valley and decided to stop for lunch on the way in Dronero. We didn’t know where to go so we asked a shop owner for recommendations. Thankfully Rosso Rubino was one of the recommendations. We didn’t have a reservation so we were happy that they had a table for us. Then we discovered that this is no ordinary restaurant and that we were in for a real treat We opted for the Menù Degustazione and were delighted by each of the four courses. The first course of slow cooked egg in a bowl of local cheese fondue and wild spinach was out of this world. The risotto alla Nino Bergese was honestly one of the best risottos we have ever eaten. The main course was veal cheeks braised in white wine and the meat was so tender you could eat it with a spoon. The chestnut soufflé for dessert was absolutely delicious. The next time we are in Dronero we will definitely return to Rosso Rubino for the impeccable service and outstanding food."
