Very nice place with friendly English-speaking staff and great food. We had grilled baby chicken salad and grilled octopus and both were delicious. Desserts were also delicious. A bit on the Pricy page for Bangkok, but great value for money. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kika Bangkok:
A lot of hype for nothing: very loud music, small choice tapas. Not unforgivable tapas to be honest compare Some dishes arrived very late. Steak tartare was probably the best choice, tortilla espanola was flavorless. Great staff and service. View all feedback.
We went to Kika looking for large Spanish tapas and came extremely satisfied. The restaurant is open and welcoming, with a really warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor is so well made that I forgot myself that I was in Bangkok for a while. Service was top notch. The orders were taken immediately and the food was ready in less than 10 minutes. A little detail: we found strange that we served “main” tapas before the “appearants” called but they tapas, it was not much. We started with the beef tar and fries. A well seasoned classic cut to perfection, served with crispy and salty frits. The beef could have used a little more chili punch. Then we had the Coliflower Steak with Hummus. Great balance of textures and spices. Finished with the bikini, a range of delicious mini sandwiches with Manchego and Serano, and the brandade, a warm cod and potato blend served with bread. Also delicious! All in all, a great dinner in a great restaurant. There is no doubt that Kika is the place to go if you are looking for a Spanish influenced meal in Bangkok.
Great tapas square. The food was great! I loved the stuff and the steak tart. The tortar was served on the baked bone marrow. The combination of hot and cold plus the creaminess of the bone marrow with the tartar was perfect! They also have a wide selection of wine and cocktails. Last but not least, the staff was super friendly! Note: The restaurant is located directly on Convent Street without parking, unless you park at the sidewalk. I recommend you take a taxi so you don't have to worry about the parking lot.
Nice bar with Tapas! the size is bit larger than I expected but yummy! it serves better with white wine the service is also good with friendly faces and smile.
Offer small plates but delicious! Good services and cozy atmosphere.
