What Joaquín Figueroa likes about Brazen Head:
Had dinner here for date night. It's dark but cozy and gives off old school vibes. We ordered escargot to try and they were super tasty! For my dinner, I got the NY pepper steak and enjoyed it. Even though the bar looks amazing, their cocktails are not great. I got a $12 whiskey sour that tasted like a $5 dive bar drink. Maybe I'll have to try a different cocktail next time or maybe I'll just stick to wine. Service w... View all feedback.

read moreBrazen Head is a cozy, old-school restaurant with a dark and charming atmosphere that gives off classic vibes. The escargot appetizer was super tasty, and the NY pepper steak was delicious. While the cocktails were not impressive, the service was good. The restaurant is a great late-night dining option with minimal wait times. The traditional feel, excellent staff, and consistently good food make it a repeat dining spot for many customers. The atmosphere and service always shine, though some minor issues like dry baked potatoes and stale bread have been noted. Overall, Brazen Head is a beloved favorite with delicious food, great service, and a cozy ambiance that keeps customers coming back for more.
I cleaned my plate of Penne a la Norma and left nothing behind, as with the French Onion Gratinee.
It was after 11:00 last Saturday night I was staying at the Hotel Del Sol, and had been to a birthday party in Pacific Heights.
This review is only of their bar: Small, relaxed local friendly bar with a nice feel.
