What Joltierre doesn't like about Don Pedro Mexican:
I tried to call ahead for my birthday but was told they don't take reservations. The entire party must be present before they will seat you, and the wait time was estimated to be around 30 minutes on a Thursday evening. I haven't visited this restaurant in years due to this policy, as the wait times can be much longer, up to 75-90 minutes on busy nights. In my opinion, it is one of the best, if not the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. Been eating there for 30 years!
Was here from out of town for my daughter's graduation. Family went to Don Pedro Mexican restaurant for some good Mexican food. OMG I must say that it was the best Mexican food that I have ever had. The staff was a little unorganized but everyone was courtesy and the waitress was always asking if there was anything else we needed. All in all I was very impressed and if I am ever in Texas again I will definitely go there to eat again.
Don Pedro's is the bets Mexican Restaurant for Mexican food..!!! Brings back so many dam good memories...!!! Nothing but the best..!!!!
My family has been coming to Don Pedro's for four generations. It's our go to spot for special occasions and beef puff tacos�
