While in town for business my wife and I lunched here… as other’s have mentioned, it is tourist centered, located next door to Alioto’s . As the place was fairly busy, we got lucky to be streetside seated and enjoyed street shows, barkers and passersby as we ate light seafood fare which ended up not being very memorable. The restaurant was oddly empty. Kind of sad actually. This used to be the epitome of fancy dining in the past. Highly trained waiters and bus boys , coat check etc. Now waiters reach over you, serve you from across the table, bring entrees when you are still eating your salad. Great food! Slow service. Took 20 minutes to get my check.
They had a wide hall but seats windowside only were occupied, but food and service were good.
