I loved this place since I moved to San Diego 17 years ago! You have a separate plant-based sushi menu. Whenever I go to a non-vegan place for sushi, I always order something boring like avocado or cucumber rolls, but at Harney, I get the imagination and inventive roles like the Omnivores! they have a “vegetarian” menu that can be made vegan. but don't talk to the young hostess. they have no idea what the word vegan means. must talk to a manager or cook. we had to check our order and they asked to make a sushi roll again without cream cheese, although the rolls we chose had no cream cheese in it. be careful and alert and they can get vegan sushi. her vegan Ponzu sauce is very good.
