Tre Trattoria - San Andreas

Great food, but fell into this black hole of service. The waitress took so long to get our order and never checked us. The menu items ran out, not the server's fault, but she kept asking for refills, and she didn't even consider whether we wanted a dessert.

Decided to take myself out for a nice, casual dinner "date".

For months, I had been curious about the actual deliciousness of this place, as my friends and family had spoken so highly of it.

The waiter was friendly and professional, but had too many tables. The food was salty and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. He used to enjoy this place, but will probably not be back now.

I have dined at this restaurant several times. I was surprised that even with a reservation, we were seated at a booth near the kitchen. Although we could have requested to move, we decided not to. The waiter was very friendly, but did not refill our water glasses unless prompted. My husband's lasagna was presented as a large block on a plain plate. A side salad or something green and crunchy would have been a nice addition. I am not a fan of prix fixe menus, especially when the main course is priced separately. The dining area was dimly lit and somewhat noisy. I would prefer not to be seated in that section in the future.
