Awesome experience. Went here two nights and just had a relaxing stress free time. Loved it. Bartender was Dani and she was great and waitress on second day was another Dani and she was equally great. Also Sarah behind the bar on second day was excellent also. What Elizabeth Runyon doesn't like about Bier Garten:
We walked in around 4:45 and sat for 15 minutes. It wasn 't busy at all. No one came to ask us if we wanted anything. They appeared to be having a meeting in the back corner. Manager was loud and vulgar while talking to his team. Can 't believe they have such great reviews. Glad we left because we walked a little ways down and found a yummy place that greeted us and had amazing service. Don 't waste your time here. View all feedback.
We are able to sit outside and the atmosphere was great. Our server was friendly and funny. We had the sampler platter and enjoyed every bite.
Pretty busy Wednesday evening. Glad we visited. A nice place to eat and drink.
I travel for a living and always look forward to coming here for dinner. Last night my meal and beer were exceptionally perfect! So delicious. This is a hidden gem on the Riverwalk…don’t hesitate to stop here!
Great food! Wonderful customer service! Highly recommend. Sampler platter is a great way to try the various sausages.
Overall it was a good place. No AC when we went in the Texas summer heat, they at least had a fan. The service was slow when we were there especially considering they were not busy at all. We had intended to eat-in but since they were so slow we had to order things last minute to-go. The beer was good, the pretzel was great however the schnitzel sandwich is more of a regular chicken sandwich rather than a schnitzel, so that was very disappointing especially considering the price.
