that is my second time in a restaurant with a tasting menu. my first, restaurant eugene in atlanta and the bar was quite high. restaurant gwendolyn is a very small and intimate restaurant. I think there were only 7 tables. I didn't like our table being so close to another. Food was below average in my opinion. Service was excellent. Broccoli salad had bad pieces in it, beef was mushy, potatoes under cooked. Fish was very fishy tasting and not appetizing. Pumpkin soup and bread was good. Just didn't like most of it and when spending 200.00 I expect to be thrilled. In comparison I have ate at Bliss three times and loved it every time. read more.
