What User likes about New Flower Drum:
tasty American Chinese takeout with fresh ingredients, huge portions with meat and vegetables, is-this-even-the-Bay-Area prices. also super fast delivery by the restaurant itself and not a third-party service that takes an obscene cut of the ordering doordash over). I have been ordering for years from this place, and they were consistently fantastic and cheap. so glad to live near her! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about New Flower Drum:
Almost 53 bucks for food, that wasn't good. Nothing has a taste, and we find a rock in Chicken Teriyaki that?s not ok people don't waste your money in this Chinese food! View all feedback.

the server was friendly, but unfortunately there was something corrupted in the fried rice.

"Cute little spot to stop in if you're enjoying a stroll in downtown San Carlos. We happened upon Tea Hut on a warm sunny Sunday post farmers market. The place was busy with patrons lining the outside sidewalk. They have a plentiful menu of options. My fam enjoys the fruit tea blends. Passion fruit green tea and something similar to an Arnold Palmer were picked. The taro boba was a nice option instead of normal boba. Similar texture minus the sweetness which was fine with the passion fruit tea. The lemon tea had slices of fresh citrus which made the drink nice and tart. Refreshing on this warm day!"

"Teaspoon is one of my favourite boba chains in the area! It's a local chain, so the flavour profile is a bit more refreshing than the heartiness that you usually find in shops from Taiwan. Both are great, as it is mostly attuned to the different climate! I like the rotating fresh monthly flavours. They are always well balanced, usually fruit based and refreshing, and offers an element of surprise. If I'm feeling like something familiar, I usually go with the liquid gold with house cream. Unfortunately, the taro milk is a bit too thin and not hearty enough for me look for another shop to satisfy your craving. I also order 25% sweetness and if you get the flavored jelly, even 25% can be a little too sweet. They also carry coffee now but I haven't had enough to know if it's enough caffeine for me (I really do love my espresso). This particular location is ok! The staff can be really friendly, but the drinks are a little less flavourful for some reason it's definitely not my fav milk tea in Burlingame, but if you want something fruit based, this will do just fine."
