What Masa Guchi likes about Chon Ju Jip:
Secret is out! One of the best Korean restaurant in San Diego. No frill authentic mom pop restaurant. Lunch specials here are still a great deal. Banchan (small side dishes that comes with order of entree) is decent. It’s better to go with few people to share multiple plates. View all feedback.
What Ryan D doesn't like about Chon Ju Jip:
Came here specifically for the Yangnyeom Gejang Spicy marinated raw crab and it was great. Got the galbi, the pork dumplings, and the bulgolgi with rice and salad. This all came with side dishes and some flavored tea water.Would come back again for the crab and the bulgolgi. Stopped by again and got the crabs and an order of Bo Ssam with extra oysters; it was the best lunch ever. View all feedback.
I had this for lunch at work. It was the perfect lunch. Not so heavy and filled with flavor. I wish I was hungry again so I can get some more.
Nice little pop and shop place, have a family owned vibe. This is nice small place to have a quick bite.
