My favorite fried chicken in San Diego. I suggest ordering by phone in advance and then show up about 15 to 20 minutes later. Prices are not bad either. Enjoy. Not a fancy place but they turn out some good chicken. Easily overlooked on El Cajon blvd but it is my go to place when I have a hankering for fried chicken. View all feedback.
What Gigi Hubb doesn't like about Crispy Fried Chicken:
During covid, this place was slamming! Haven't ordered in long time due to the price increase. It's very expensive now(4 me). My favorite is the corn bread. Delicious! The chicken this time wasn't crispy, flavorful and didn't taste very fresh. Sorry! I had faith in the chicken, but nope. I ate 1 piece and threw the rest away(10 piece order). Mad I was out so much money and didn't have lunch for the week. View all feedback.
They are better than KFC, Chick Fil A and these store out there. Cheap but amazing quality! I love the food here!

I had an amazing experience at Crispy Fried Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy and flavorful batter and juicy, tender meat. The sides were also delicious, with a great variety of classic comfort foods to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I highly recommend stopping by Crispy Fried Chicken for some of the best fried chicken in town!
If you like a non pretentious place with great chicken this is your place. Call your order in to avoid a wait. They have pretty good Mac and cheese as well.
