I’m visiting from out of town, and during my stay, I’ve tried several restaurants. I was extremely impressed with the staff here; they were kind and treated us like real people, not just another customer. They took the time to explain the various ingredients in the dishes we were curious about and highlighted their specialties to help us make our choices. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh! What Claud Stehr doesn't like about El Pollo Loco:
We had placed a mobile order after we received our confirmation that our food was done, we drove past. On arrival, our food was not even ready when the staff behind the counter had the opportunity to ask if we wanted our order for which we had paid. When we waited, we noticed that the person cooking the chicken for used gloves and handling raw chicken, several surfaces in the kitchen area, then handling already cooke... View all feedback.
Great staff. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the employee patiently helped me decide even though there was a line/que. I peeked in the back and it is very clean....even under the prep area. The manager (Shaz? was very informative. The chicken is deliciously flavored and juicy. Good food, good prices. I usually don't give a chain store 5 stars but the employees and teamwork was pretty impressive. Keep up the good work crazy chicken people!
These 2 are corporate office workers they came to POLLO loco in Chula Vista off of 1535 Palm Avenue to make sure this store stayed open I had an order to pick up and deliver a a big order for a client and these 2 made sure that happened thank you very much the corporate is very very fortunate to have these 2 work for them I hope they get what they deserve and should be a raise it's
I usually come here to grab a quick lunch. My favorite is the Avocado salad, it's delicious!
Eating was really dissapointing, I understand it's chain, and I can't ask for super high quality, but really, the chicken was so tiny and dry, the Mac and cheese was okaish on the bitter side, but the Wuacamole was too mad, we ate everything really fast and leave, the thing is, you literally have a popeye's next door and I was already there, and it is. I wanted to give him a chance to dirty Loco, but I don't think I'll ever try again:
I wish I recorded how long I sat at the order window of the drive-thru without being acknowledged! There was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE eating inside and only one car in front of me which they took forever on them as well. I started realizing why they built a Popeye's Chicken right next door. I got fed up waiting on a measley 2-piece combo that I just ended up driving off since nobody noticed I was even there! Went to Rally's instead, was in and out in a matter of minutes! (You see the empty lot in the picture I provided? Yep. Me too! So why act like you're too busy to acknowledge a customer [me] who is probably helping pay your wages!?
