it is very nice to go from home to a restaurant and be greeted with their names. What Elissa Legros doesn't like about Chava's:
we were so excited to eat in the mission. the food tasted rather than authentic. the ceviche should be marinated in lemon juice, which is cooked by the juice, so that it is half raw what I love. the picture on the menu showed this, but when I got it, it was crushed on cooked garnelen in ketchup. ceviche has no ketchup! it has tomaten, swirling and paprika. sometimes I have seen it with gurke that I can take or leave...
