I went here for my birthday, and it was a great experience! It's a tasting menu, so there's not much to think about besides whether you want a drink pairing. I think it's nice they have a non-alcoholic pairing, but we chose the wine pairing. The nine flavors first course is just amazing; what a way to begin a meal! I hope to come back again some day. What Guadalupe Robel doesn't like about Eight Tables By George Chen:
As a find ding is good, but as Chinese restaurant, it's not authentic dishes. We do have good time in here and service is fine, detail presentation is on touch. I would say if you wish to have a fine dining experience this is not a bad choice. View all feedback.
Gold plated dishes a new level of an Asian concept for the Bay Area
Finally a true Chinese fine dining experience!!!! And with a front of the house staff that rivals the French laundry in attention to detail. Absolutely superb. Can't wait to see eight tables get a few Michelin stars. (And this was soooo much better than Benu in every way!
Chinese tasting menu? You'll have no idea until you try it. And you'll want to come back for more.
Beyond amazing food, people, service, and experience. Be sure to book the Chef's Table!
Amazing dining experience! The food, the details, the ambiance...WOW!
