So happy we made it to the home of the very first Mission burrito. Were it not for El Faro, we apparently might never have had what's arguably the iconic San Francisco food. Under the Same ownership since 1961, it was not too busy and service was quick and very friendly, tacos and breakfast burrito were extremely tasty. I would say it's a must-see. View all feedback.
Unimpressed by the chicken burrito I got here. The meat was gristly and overcooked, and there wasn't any real redeeming flavor from the rest of the burrito.
