What John K likes about Iza Ramen:
Iza is a great ramen joint in Lower Haight. We used to walk there when we lived near the Panhandle and it was always consistently good.The menu has what you’d expect from an izakaya. The appetizers include a fantastic Karaage Chicken, Gyoza and Shishito Peppers. The Donburi rice bowl is also a good option if you’re not in the mood for noodles. The service was good, and the interior and food presentation were nice, but ultimately the ramen broth was mediocre and lacking in flavor and depth.
