I met a friend for lunch there, which is omnivore and there were options for both of us as well as gf options, all very clearly marked on the menu, which I appreciate! What User doesn't like about Komaaj:
I came with high hopes, having walked by this relatively new spot a few times. I love having diverse cuisine within walking distance. We need more like this in the Mission. For Komaaj, though, it felt very transactional. The menu was still on a QR code and the server used a touchpad, which removed a bit of ambience from the experience. Wonderfully flavorful, light and satisfying dishes. Very friendly service. Looking forward to checking out the new venue.
