Our plans changed unexpectedly and we found ourselves in SAN GIMIGNANO with no real plan as to where we would eat. We saw I Macchiaioloi Vineria on TA, it looked good so off we went. It completely exceeded our expectations, situated in a side street off the ‘tourist’ track, it has only 3 tables so get their early if you want lunch.
