We stumbled across this fun-looking restaurant and decided to have lunch. We ate outdoors and that was probably the best part of the meal. Service was extremely slow and the serve staff were polite but not very talkative or informative. The food was excellent. Great location, outdoor seating and good food. Maybe it was just our server. "Great value for money In connection with our holiday stay at the Hotel Sovestro near San Gimignano, we used restaurant Da Pode, which is part hotel and a restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. We ended up eating there several times. We tried several different dishes. They were all super prepared and tasty. In addition to this, the staff were top notch. Really good service, listened to our wishes, etc. There is also the possibility to drink the place 's own wines with the food It was really a good experience. Beautiful wines (and Grappa), there were both traditional and new wines on the menu. Perfect for the food. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide as a Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking. It serves delicious Tuscan cuisine. Thank you for some wonderful evenings in the Tuscan sunset, with wonderful food, service and wine."
