Lunardi's Markets - San Jose

Service is great, food prep looks great. Clean overall. Store Carries The one and only Ortiz Ventresca Tuna. It is must get if you haven’t tried! Can’t/ won’t find in many places. Please don’t get rid of it. Also Carries another family favorite Beckmanns Rum Laced Pecan Pie. What use to be a holiday item is so good they make it year round now. But you will have to come here or some farmers markets may have.

First time in the store. It was very clean and organized. Fruit and vegetables looked fresh. Bakery items were an awesome selection. Friendly cashier. A tall handsome guy helped me reach an item. Will be back soon and I look forward to buying more goodies there.

Always clean place to shop.. there meats and other food are fresh cut right fron the butchers.. spend a few extra dollars for groceries but better than nob hill Safeway meats.

Older neighborhood market, past it's prime. The physical space is badly in need of an upgrade. The floors are old tile, the lights are flickering fluorescent, and the ceiling is a stained styrofoam type of lowered tiles. The overall impression is one of tiredness. The produce department is very nice with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. I am a vegetarian so I can't judge the meat but the display is immaculate. Huge variety all neatly displayed. They employ Union butchers and the quality and professionalism shows. The store employees were cheerful and helpful. The shelves were organized and fully stocked. They offer a large deli and a popular soup buffet. Food prep areas are clean and organized. The bakery department offered a selection of breads, cookies, and pies. This local grocery store is very nice. The store has a of gourmet foods that you won't find inn other grocery stores. The staff is top notch and very Professional. If they don't have what your looking for they will see if they can order it or call another Lunardi's .
