Delicious food. Absolutely recommended for vegetarians and vegans. Mushroom hamburger was incredible. The place is really nice, buy consider the place doesn't have parking, you have to park on the street. View all feedback.
What John Tikaram doesn't like about Arbol De Seda:
Ate lunch here with my friend. We shared the Superbowl, Sollofrijo caribeño a side of fries topped with guacamole. Everything was SUPER salty. The Superbowl was definitely missing a sauce; and we weren’t fans of the fried plantain seitan in the Sollofrijo. All in all, everything looked and tasted like vegan junk food which obviously many people love. If you’re looking for something light and healthy I would recommend... View all feedback.
I was here because I read it was a vegetarian Lgbt café, so I had to visit it. Unfortunately there were not too many vegan options on the menu for a vegetarian restaurant. but eating was fresh and tasted good. the mood was great so I would come back.
An extensive menu with healthy (ish) options and comfort clips! the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, although they were super busy and seemed to be a person or two. everything I tried was over delicious, and the prices were not bad for what they got. hungry.
Hey! Had a really nice experience, arrived 45min before closing, they could really fast serve me some excellent food. I took a Beyond Burger Brunch, a set of menu. Came with the soup of Thai Ramen style and it was DELICIOUSSo take that for sure, only the soup is incredible. Place is nice with the shop and everything, great atmosphere, maybe would add more plants. PS. I did not receive my fresh Orange juice that I was supposed to, but I will ask them that tomorrow then!
I ordered the quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious! It had pineapple In it and I felt it was great with it. I’m not really a fan of vegan cheese but the cheese with this quesadilla was special. I would absolutely order this again. I was tempted to order the patacones which they call pizzacones or something like that. I’m sad I didn’t order it because another table did and it looked legit. Hopefully I can make it here again while in Costa Rica. Update July 4th 2021: I’ve been here at least 5 times since this initial review and I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants, as far as taste, that I’ve visited. I’ve had many things on the menu and everything is delicious. This is a MUST visit when in the San José area! Updated from previous review on 2020-12-20 Updated from previous review on 2021-07-04
Had a really lovely lunch here, the food was delicious, can make most things vegans or they are already vegan. Lots of desserts to choose from. Staff very nice and attentive, good vibes and good prices
