What Verónica Alaniz doesn't like about Hospederia Valle De Los Caidos:
We were eating on Sunday, February 13. El.menú were 16€. this Saturday 20€. The place is great. the climbing seems too much for the menu they offer, which seems quite normal. First we had a stir of gulas, I didn't take much, second according to the intercot menu, although it was a normal tender steak and it came a little cold. lemon mousse was rich. we have to go because the place is very nice and the menu price was... First we had a stir of gulas, I didn't take much, second according to the intercot menu, although it was a normal tender steak and it came a little cold. lemon mousse was rich. we have to go because the place is very nice and the menu price was more affordable than the environment. But I don't think we're back, for that price there are better menus.

Quality homemade food and a wonderful place and environment. the staff, moreover, especially friendly. and joto this month are reformed to improve the facilities, which have a lot of charm. The coffee is a delight to take it, even if it makes fresh, on the terrace of the door of the lodging, overlooking the impressive cross
Room very basic but nice and warm during a very cold visit. Buildings in need of some tender loving care but impressive all the same. Our experience of the food served at dinner on the first night and breakfast the following morning was not good. Breakfast improved slightly the following morning in that we were served with butter to go with the bread jam. Third morning we got a glass of orange juice as well. However, we appreciated being so near to the Monument and could wander around at our leisure and really appreciate the position of the cross and monastery. Plus the surrounding woodlands etc. Really beautiful in the snow. Well worth the visit.
