What Mark Liu likes about Avenida:
I had an exciting first experience at this restaurant with very interesting dishes and good flavors. However, after returning two weeks in a row, I noticed that the menu is small and some dishes are not as impressive the second time around. We were seated promptly after we arrived for our lunch appointment. But the food arrived over an hour later after we placed our order. No one checked on us or apologized for the slowness. We had to ask several times before they explained that there was a large party they had to serve which caused the kitchen backup. The meat dishes we had are all as good as I remembered.
