Boiling Point San Mateo is a great location for this tasty hot pot chain. The management was very attentive and helpful and so was the staff, I had no choice but to drop a 25% tip! Wait area is a large bar area with no service after pulling your number, so good for resting and waiting. I usually get the lamb pot and green tea. The spicy Taiwanese is insanely spicy... you have been warned! View all feedback.

4 stars for food and decor. 3 stars for service. Ordered Korean bean paste, the Lamb, and the Milk Curry. The crown daisy in the Korean bean paste pot was a good balance to the other ingredients. The lamb pot was my favorite. We ordered mild but the pots were all spicy to our taste. The lemonade shots at the end were refreshing. Service was cold. Wait staff disappeared after he brought us the food. It was hard to get their attention for water refills and to get our check.
