This place is family run and all the folks working are punjabi’s . So the food is really authentic north indian punjabi food. Their kababs are sizzling and cooked right so absolutely delicious. The butter chicken kids ate was very good too. It’s hard to find really good indian restaurants in the bay area though we have so many to choose from here. This one is a keeper. I asked for mild, but it was extremely hard spicy. Prices are higher than medium.
The main restaurant I remember from living 2 years in San Mateo. Highly recommend the vegetarian pizza, especially gobi achar.
