What K K likes about Handras Pastry Co Inc:
I'm extremely picky about desserts, but I was given an eclair and a piece of cake from this bakery and was very impressed!The eclair had a nice whipped cream filling, not too sweet, and a rich chocolate topping. The cake was fluffy and the frosting was perfect, not overly rich or sweet like american bakeries. The presentation was also very nice. Dianda's in San francisco was my mom's favorite bakery and i was pleasantly surprised to know there was one in San Mateo. So i've been going to this place for many years, but lately i've noticed a change. I don't really know what happened to their panettone it seems too dry and my favorite Almond torte it tastes extremely sweet. It could be that my taste buds have changed, but i'll give them 3 stars for now. View all feedback.
