Been there several times and one word best describes this restaurant...FANTASTIC! From the moment you walk in to the time that you've completed your meal...everything is absolutely FANTASTIC! Bruno and his staff are spot on. View all feedback.
Keep trying to visit different steak houses in the Bay Area. This one is definitely up there. It is also reasonably priced. The 18oz cowboy ribeye is only $65. Our service was too notch and excellent! We also had oysters and those were very good as well. I would have liked to have had more sauteed veggies and a bit bigger potato half but still very good. Would definitely come back here again to try the 20oz porterhouse.
This place has one of the best porterhouse steaks I've had in the bay area. We went here for dinner, and without ordering any starters, went straight for the kill. Between 2 of us, we ordered the 20 oz porterhouse steak and 18 oz cowboy steak, and that was plenty! Cooked to perfection with intense beefy buttery flavor in every bite, the thick cut porterhouse was hands down the winner. The cowboy steak was a perfect short bone cut, frenched from one side. Both the steaks were cooked perfectly to give the best medium rare texture and flavors throughout. Both the steaks had a sauce lightly smeared on them. I personally prefer my steaks without any sauce. So if you are the same, ask your server for sauce on the side. Since both the steaks are innately so flavorful and were seasoned to outmost perfection, they do not need any adornments. The veggies and potatoes that are served along with the steak are very delicious and cooked meticulously without making them mushy. The high ceiling atrium with film posters and billboards from old hollywood classics decorate the walls, giving a fun, cozy ambiance perfect for intimate dinners, group meals, or formal eating. Parking in this area can be very challenging on weekends we circled for about 30 mins) with some parking garages backed up as well. Since we were getting late, we called the restaurant to hold our reservation, which they did very graciously. Our server was very attentive and made sure we got our food on time as we were running late for plans post dinner. This place is a meat mongers delight, and we can't wait to go back here to try their different steaks and other items from the menu. A definite 10/10
This restaurant is a carnivore's paradise. The mixed grill was cooked superbly and served with a nice blend of potatoes and seasonable vegetables. I was also privileged to try my dining companion's 20 oz Porterhouse that was excellent. Starter's were also top notch. Enjoyed the iceberg wedge salad immensely and had a wonderful bite of my companion's hearts of Romaine salad. Dessert was decadent and lovely. Highly recommend the molten cake. This is a high quality spot with a price point to match. Worth the investment for a special event or celebration.
Came here with some colleagues for dinner. We brought our own wine and they just charged a corking fee. We all started with crab cakes and salad/soup. The crab cake and soup/salad was alright. After we moved on to our main course. I the filet mignon with a twice baked potatoes and seasonal vegetables. We shared a side of mushrooms, mac and cheese, cream of spinach and Brussel sprouts with bacon. The steak was cooked well. The other items weren’t notable. Finally we finished with dessert. I got the creme brûlée. It wasn’t bad. Street parking here is hard to get during the dinner rush hours. There are parking lots available. My gps showed multiple locations for this place. Make sure you get the right address. There are better spots for steak. I’d probably try a different one next time.
Best steakhouse in the area! Everything is phenomenal you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And they always have a nice vegetarian option packed with flavor, which I've found unusual for a steakhouse. Staff is amazing, drinks are strong, and food is perfect!
