Great plate lunches and one of the best selections of Hawaiian goods on the mainland (in my experience) and the prices are good and sometimes better than in Hawaii. Staff is always super friendly and happy to answer questions. They also carry some basic Asian market staples like curry pastes, a number of noodles and sauces and plenty of furikake. Nice mom and pop market with Japanese and Hawaiian food. Got some yummy takeout here. My favorites were the pork lau lau and the musubi selection.
