"Food and service is 5 star and then some. The dishes are freshly made to order, the portion (for me) will be 3 meals. Staff clearly loves what they do. Each person truly generated Pura Vida. I only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because the cafe is on the corner of a busy road that is near ramp to Highway 27 and can be noisy. But I will deal with the noise over and over to enjoy the fantastic food and company of the wonderful restaurant team."

"We got a great lunch at this restaurant today. It is located in my beautiful province of Puntarenas, right by the water. It was actually pretty cool to see several fish swimming right by us. When getting ready to order, the waiter brought us some raw fish for us to choose the size we wanted fried. I ordered a mixed fish, chucheca and shrimp cocktail. It was phenomenal . Prices are reasonable between 8.000 to 13000 colones a dish $20 to $28) Pretty worth trying . recommended."

"Really great food! A man works the entire restaurant and does not speak English very well. However, we can communicate and the menu is printed in English and Spanish. The owner is really sweet and makes great meals! Definitely large enough to share. The Plantain and Bean appetizer is the BEST! Sooooo good! It can be hard to find. It's at the corner of the next street and has a sign under trees. It's worth a visit!"
