"There's no shortage of places to find a great steak in Monteria, as it is famous for the rancheros that make up much of Cordoba. El Correo y Amada has earned it's marks. The meats at our table were all sumptuous and flavorful. I honestly think that their 200gm portions were quite conservatively estimated as our table was very full at meal's end. Service is very friendly and helpful a full bar was appreciated for before dinner drinks and the wines were reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is comfortable and informal. Food is served promptly and hot although one can linger and enjoy the conversation after the plates have been cleared. Like most meals in Colombia from a US$ perspective, this is a bargain. Enjoy some of the great flavors of Colombia."

"I was blown away from the quality and taste of the food! The cook uses local ingredients in a very demanding and unique way. The starter and main dish was excellent and as a German I was again surprised by the homemade bread! This restaurant is also worth several times or regularly!"

"Very good meal. Had about people in are party. We had either salmon or beef. The salmon had a passion fruit sauce fantastic. The smashed potatoes, that came with it were great. Price for either was pesos. Beer was about times the price on the street. But for where they are located well worth the price. Mostly Americans by the bar. Me and my Grandkids the only ones born in America in are party. Small band by the watchtower. Very good. Family loved dancing to it. Excellent staff, would go again. Great place to watch the sunset."
