Everything was very good, especially as the spot has only been open for a couple weeks. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken has a lovely medium spice sauce and the coleslaw, tomato and lettuce add a cooling crisp. Margherita tastes like a baked caprese which was surprising and very satisfying. What Kripa D doesn't like about Red Rooster Brick Oven:
fried chicken was thin and tough, I had to rip pieces off, couldn't bite through it, which left chickenless voids in the sandwich. Flavors were quite good, but I was expecting something tender and juicy. The sesame salad was delicious, dressing too sweet for me, but that's a personal preference, I prefer savory to sweet dressings.
