"I have eaten a lot of seafood on this tour of Colombia 's Caribbean coastal region, so it was unusual to find a meatcentric restaurant. Turns out that Mompox is in a big cattle region. Anyway, I had a tasty ground beef carne molido that was...nicely seasoned and came with coco rice, salad, fried plantain patacones and a delicious local fruit juice. The person next to me had a beautiful piece of whole fried fish and another companion had the posta negra, a beef dish that comes with a delicious sauce. Everyone declared everything very tasty."
