Four years ago we visited Gran Canaria and stumbled across this cave-restaurant, and their AMAZING grilled cheese with jam. It 's better than any other queso frito that we tasted in Gran Canaria, and the taste called us back. We turned up just as the owner was closing up, but he very graciously re-opened for us and treated us to a number of local dishes. The chick pea and chicken and bacon dish is awesome... as are t... Small restaurant in the beatiful mountain village of Artenara. Food was said to be local and we had the grilled pork and fried fish by recommendation. No pasta, pizza or normal kids food is available so our children was not all too happy. Food was OK but not more. A bit pricy for what was served.
