What User doesn't like about The Madras Cafe:
As of 12/20/2021 they are not doing table side buffet until the new year, and the Thalis are only available for dinner. However, this vegetarian Indian restaurant has so many delicious choices and most are vegan. We got the aloo Gobi, dal, and masala Dosa with garlic naan. The dal was more soup-like than I'd prefer, but the flavors in everything were amazing. View all feedback.
The food was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating for nutritional restrictions. they had tons of options to choose from the menu.
What a Jewel! so many labeled vegan options along with many directed I have never seen or tried. the place made a great deal on a Friday night, so I hope they will stay around!
Good food en nice service. Vegan opties are clearly marked. Lovly staff. Chris was very helpfull! #Veganuary
We had some great food but the portion vs cost was way off. Also, i ordered online and they were supposed to text when it was ready. I never got a text so I went in and it must have been sitting on the bar for a while because everything was cold. I was surprised at how small the portions were. 1 order of naan for $5.50 was two tiny/mini naans. Same with samosas…$7 for three tiny ones that added together might make up one regular sized one. $14 Chana masala was a cup of rice and two cups of beans/sauce. Definitely not a value for what you get but at least it’s all vegetarian and tasted good. I’m still hungry! Any other Indian restaurant I would have had food leftover for lunch the next day and paid quite a bit less.
