The staff is friendly. Periodically dropping by making sure your dining experience is pleasant. Management also enjoys making an appearance. Polite and non intrusive. Just a short hello to introduce himself and ask you if your order is to your liking. Never felt rushed our food was on time. What Miek D doesn't like about El Maguey:
Food was bland and terrible, like if a hospital served texmex. There is absolutely no reason to settle for this terrible quality Mexican food in the Tulsa area where there are so many better options. Waiter ignored our needs and chatted with another table who I assume he was friends with the entire time we were attempting to dine. View all feedback.

Or relax in a comfortable atmosphere while dinning on great tasting well proportioned meal with family and friends. Reasonably priced. So your pocket leaves as satisfied as your appetite.
Hi T Town I tried El Maguey for the first time and believe it is a hidden gem, ranking as one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. The staff are attentive and the food is excellent. I tried a new item on the menu (see pic) and was blown away with how good it was. I was even surprised that I ate it all at one sitting.
Good was so so. Had fish tacos which were good, but steak tacos and El maquey trio? Was not.
Great food, custom margaritas with real fruit sweetened with agave instead of corn syrup, and quick, friendly staff, one of Tulsa metro's elite tequila selection
Most Mexican restaurants seem to be the same but this one was different on their food combinations. Very good flavor and I think it's worth driving from BA to Sand Springs to eat there. You have to try it to believe me.
